TALK TO AN EXPERT

Hot on the heels of RSA, eSentire is excited to be a Gold Sponsor at Cloud & Cyber Security Expo in London on 11-12 March at booth #S750. This event is one of Europe’s annual largest cyber events which attracts over 20,000 security and IT professionals, 700+ expert speakers and 700+ technology suppliers to London’s ExCeL.

Two of the key themes at this year’s event are “Threat Detection, Intelligence, and Response” and “Enterprise Cloud Security” – fundamental issues that businesses of all sizes and industries must address while embarking on digital transformation initiatives and balancing risk in a continually evolving and fluid cyberthreat landscape.

As the category creator of Managed Detection and Response (MDR), our services continue to evolve based on a core belief: traditional perimeter-based and point solutions only go so far to protect you against the modern, more sophisticated adversary. In a world where digital transformation has influenced moving workloads from inside the datacentre to the network edge and beyond, modern protection requires visibility, detection and proactive response to known and new threats. eSentire’s cloud-delivered MDR is built on the notion that cybersecurity is a strategic business issue supported by the IT department through securing critical assets and sensitive data to ensure business continuity and mitigate risk

For eSentire, the best part about Cloud & Cybersecurity Expo is having countless conversations with fellow cybersecurity pros. Whether you want to talk about what’s new with eSentire, discuss industry trends or to dive deeply into particular subjects, we’re excited to meet you.

You can check out a full list of our planned activities here, but here’s a preview.

Let’s talk about what’s new: Cloud-delivered Managed Detection and Response, the Adaptive Threat Fabric … and more!

It’s been a busy few months here at eSentire.

We’ve been hard at work building our cloud-delivered Managed Detection and Response platform, which ingests data, turns it into insights and accelerates indicators of concern to our elite threat hunters who identify attacks in seconds and contain them in minutes before they disrupt business. And our Adaptive Threat Fabric delivers processing scale and speed to combat emerging threats and ensure new detections at a single customer are immediately translated to protection for all of our customers.

We also recently released our Annual Threat Intelligence Report: 2019 Perspectives and 2020 Predictions. Fittingly, this report illustrated that the human element isn’t limited to the security side of the conflict: while commodity malware and automated threats rightfully receive a great deal of attention, we shine a light on the rising threat of “hands-on-keyboard” attacks, which require manual human effort on the part of the threat actor.

We also announced a partnership with CrowdStrike to bring industry-leading cloud-delivered detection and response solutions to the mid-market and, along with VMware Carbon Black, we released a Threat Intelligence Spotlight on the shifting framework of modern malware.

But that’s not all! We announced the availability of esCLOUD. This comprehensive portfolio extends eSentire’s industry-leading MDR capabilities and elite threat hunting expertise for on-premises to modern cloud environments, enabling full visibility, threat detection and breach response across cloud workload and instances for the major IaaS and SaaS platforms.

If you want to learn about our new service offerings—including enhanced cybersecurity in the cloud—or chat about our recent research activities, please visit booth #S750.

Pop by for our in-booth knowledge sessions

Our lightning-quick, in-booth knowledge sessions feature some of today’s hottest cybersecurity topics:

Each session is short by design (7-10 minutes) to allow plenty of time for you to chat with our security experts. If you’d like to schedule a meeting in advance, please you can do this here.

We’re delivering each session multiple times throughout the event and all in-booth session attendees will have the chance to win a wireless power bank or Amazon gift card at the end of each presentation.

eSentire Presentations at Cloud & Cybersecurity Expo

On 11 March at 10:55am, I will present on The Evolution of Cybersecurity Protection. Why Response is Key to Defending Against Multidimensional Attackers. This session will explore how digital transformation has turned the traditional view of cyber protection on its head, provide real life examples combined with primary research to explore the latest cyberattack trends and what businesses can do to better protect and defend themselves against evolving threats.

On 12 March at 10:35am, I will discuss whether Cloud Security and Digital Transformation are compatible, with a focus on understanding digital risk and accountability associated with cloud deployments, and best practice recommendations on hardening security posture in a digital age

You can add these to your event calendar through the links above.

And don’t forget your T-shirt!

For those of you who want a souvenir, we’re bringing back our extraordinarily popular T-shirts, so stop by to choose between two great designs.

We certainly hope to see you!
