Eldon Sprickerhoff and Erin McLean join the Catalyst Cyber Accelerator as Entrepreneurs-in-Residence.

The Catalyst Cyber Accelerator is the first cybersecurity-focused commercial accelerator in Canada. Headquartered in Brampton's Innovation District, the Catalyst Cyber Accelerator helps early-stage Canadian cybersecurity companies grow into national and international competitors.

eSentire Founder and Chief Innovation Officer, Eldon Sprickerhoff, and Chief Marketing Officer, Erin McLean, were recently named Entrepreneurs-in-Residence (EIRs) for this exciting program. As EIRs, Eldon and Erin will support Catalyst incubated businesses with subject matter expertise across service development, product enhancement, business development, take-to-market acceleration, brand development, marketing communications, and more.

“I’ve benefitted a great deal from partnership and mentorship across the greater cybersecurity community in Canada,” said Eldon Sprickerhoff. “To be able to give back to the next generation of innovators and builders is extremely motivating.”

“eSentire is the perfect example of a Canadian-grown cybersecurity organization excelling on a global scale,” said Erin McLean. “I love this program because it provides such value to early and mid-stage companies as they look to differentiate themselves and truly accelerate on a wide scale, as we have.”

The Catalyst Cyber Accelerator offers technical and strategic advice, mentorship, and business resources for early to mid-stage Canadian cybersecurity companies, helping them grow and succeed. There is no cost to participating in the Catalyst Cyber Accelerator, and no equity is taken in participating companies. The Catalyst Cyber Accelerator is supported by the Government of Canada, through the Federal Economic Development Agency for Southern Ontario (FedDev Ontario), Rogers Communications and the City of Brampton.
