Dani Averill

Chief of Staff

As Chief of Staff, Dani Averill serves as a strategic force multiplier across eSentire's leadership team. She brings operational rigor to drive cross-functional accountability, lead high-priority strategic initiatives, and ensure the operating rhythm of the business translates leadership intent into measurable results. Her role is the connective tissue between strategy and execution — spanning executive strategy, enterprise-wide programs, performance storytelling, and board relations.

Dani brings a deep background in data infrastructure, reporting, and analytical leadership. As Director of Business Intelligence at IronCircle, her mandate was to equip the executive team and business leaders with the strategic insights and data-driven action items needed to run the business — while bridging the gap between business stakeholders and a global BI engineering team to standardize core metrics and define a unified performance narrative. At 2U, Inc., she led a team of analysts supporting a portfolio representing $100M+ in annual revenue and redesigned enterprise reporting frameworks serving hundreds of stakeholders. In both roles, she built a reputation for moving fluidly between building and interpreting the data, surfacing what matters, and driving the business outcomes that follow.

Dani holds a B.A. in Psychology and Communications from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor. She is also a co-founder of the Honoring Neighbors Foundation, a family foundation dedicated to charitable giving and service in support of education, community empowerment, and the arts.
