eSentire Opens New U.S. SOC, Providing U.S. Data Residency

Highly regulated sectors can now meet strict U.S. data residency mandates with eSentire Atlas without sacrificing enterprise-grade, AI-powered threat detection and response

WASHINGTON – July 8, 2026 – eSentire, a leader in Controlled Autonomy SecOps, today announced the launch of a dedicated Atlas Platform deployment running on United States-based AWS infrastructure along with a new security operations center in the greater Washington D.C. area, delivering a contractual guarantee that customer data never leaves U.S. borders.

The U.S. Security Operations Center (SOC) enables regulated entities, like U.S. state and local government, education, and healthcare organizations, to access enterprise-grade security while complying with the requirement that threat detection data, investigation records, and response logs remain on US soil.

"Data sovereignty has become increasingly important as cloud and AI infrastructure permeates around the world. eSentire’s U.S. SOC closes the market gap with a dedicated Atlas platform on US infrastructure, contractually enforced, backed by 25 years of operational SOC expertise," said James C. Foster, CEO of eSentire. “We have provided mission-critical services to organizations for over 20 years, and now we can offer those same capabilities to highly regulated industries and the United States Federal Government.”

The Atlas Platform delivers purpose-built and adaptive AI operative infrastructure in a continuous closed loop across autonomous AI offensive security, exposure management, and Managed Detection and Response (MDR) services. The U.S. SOC operates on a fully isolated instance of Atlas deployed within a dedicated U.S. AWS region, architecturally separate from eSentire's global infrastructure. All data storage, processing, investigation logs, and response activities remain strictly within U.S. borders, governed by rigid contractual access controls and a comprehensive audit trail. Through this sovereign-by-design architecture, eSentire delivers its complete, AI-powered capability stack alongside 24/7 elite human expertise. As a result, highly regulated organizations can now leverage the same MDR capabilities that protect more than 2,000 global enterprises across 80 countries.

The U.S. SOC also integrates Atlas Preempt, eSentire's offensive security capabilities, enabling adversarial validation of customer exposures through the same U.S.-resident platform. Every offensive finding sharpens the detection content running in the SOC, with no data leaving U.S. infrastructure. eSentire also has security operations capabilities in Canada, Europe, the Middle East, and Asia. The company is currently building toward a Phase 2 roadmap for organizations with elevated federal requirements.

The U.S. SOC is available now for new and existing enterprise customers. To learn more, connect with an eSentire Security Specialist today.
