The eSentire Caller Verification program (“Program”) is operated by eSentire Inc. (“eSentire”). Through the Program, eSentire sends one-time passcodes by text message (SMS) to verify the identity of callers who contact eSentire’s Security Operations Center (SOC) or support teams. Program messages are used only for security and authentication. eSentire does not send marketing or promotional messages through the Program.
You enroll in the Program by giving verbal consent during an active support call with eSentire. The eSentire representative will describe the Program, confirm the mobile telephone number to which the passcode will be sent, and ask whether you agree to receive verification text messages. Calls are recorded, and your verbal consent is retained as a record of enrollment.
Consent to receive Program messages is not a condition of purchase of any eSentire product or service. If you prefer not to receive text messages, you may verify your identity using the eSentire Atlas mobile app instead.
You will receive one message per verification request. Messages are sent only during active support calls when identity verification is required. Message frequency varies based on how often you contact eSentire support.
Message and data rates may apply. Contact your wireless carrier for details about your messaging plan.
You may opt out of the Program at any time by replying STOP to any Program message. After you reply STOP, you will receive a single message confirming that you have been unsubscribed, and you will not receive further Program messages unless you enroll again. After opting out, you may continue to verify your identity using the eSentire Atlas mobile app.
For help, reply HELP to any Program message or contact eSentire support at 1-866-579-2200.
Carriers are not liable for any delayed or undelivered messages. Message delivery depends on your wireless carrier and device and is not guaranteed.
eSentire does not sell or share your SMS opt-in data or personal information with third parties for marketing purposes. For information about how eSentire collects, uses, shares, and retains personal information in connection with the Program, please review the eSentire Privacy Policy at https://www.esentire.com/legal/privacy-policy.
eSentire may revise these SMS Terms from time to time to reflect changes to the Program, applicable laws and industry requirements, or the needs of our customers. We recommend that you periodically review these SMS Terms to ensure you are familiar with the current version.
