eSentire named to Deloitte's 2015 Canada Fast 50 and North America Fast 500

November 13, 2015 | 3 MINS READ

Cambridge, ON – eSentire Inc., a leader in Active Threat Protection solutions and continuous managed cybersecurity services, joins the prestigious Deloitte Technology Fast 50™ in Canada for its explosive growth based on the high demand for their expert cybersecurity services and Deloitte’s Technology Fast 500™ in North America.

In 2013, Deloitte named eSentire on its ‘Companies-to-Watch’ list, acknowledging the team was on the path to success and was growing into a technology leader in Canada. eSentire has been doubling its employees and customer base year-over-year for the past three years. Federal and Provincial Government leaders have made a point of visiting eSentire’s North American head office and Security Operations Centre in Cambridge to learn more about their skyrocketing success.

“It’s an honour to receive this acknowledgement of the technology solution and team we have built at eSentire,” said J.Paul Haynes, CEO eSentire. “We have had an amazing ride since we first caught Deloitte’s attention in 2013 and we couldn’t be more proud to have eSentire’s name added to this year’s Deloitte Technology Fast 50 and Technology Fast 500.”

In September, eSentire opened its European headquarters and Security Operations Centre in Cork, Ireland to serve its growing EU customer base while continuing to steadily grow its staff in Cambridge, Ontario. The company is reliant on security expertise and is taking a leadership role to address a skills shortage for the highly unique, but in-demand skills required to become a cybersecurity analyst.

“Fast 50 companies are innovators that transform great ideas into stunning realities,” said Robert Nardi, Technology, Media and Telecommunications Managing Partner for Deloitte Canada. “Their passion and determination makes them all inspiring success stories. They are vital to the Canadian technology sector.”

Deloitte’s Technology Fast 50 is about connecting today with tomorrow. It is about celebrating the companies – large and small, public and private, national and global – that are delivering technological innovations that make business and life more secure, easier, better.

Deloitte's Technology Fast 500 award winners are selected based on percentage fiscal year revenue growth over a three-year period. The ranking is compiled from applications submitted directly to the Technology Fast 500 Web site and public company database research conducted by Deloitte LLP.
